Cape Town, South Africa, is town full of tourist attractions. Whether you are looking for terms of culture or nature, water sports or sunbathing, history and entertainment Cape Town has something for everyone.

Cape Town lies in the extreme southwest of South Africa and Johannesburg. In terms of population it is the second largest city in this vast country. Cape Town has been around a long time. In 1652 there was possibly the first European colony founded. Earlier ships had to sail around the Cape of Good Hope on their journey to the east. The Cape Town area was a port where ships moored in store for supplies, possibly to load and rest of the crew. Cape Town is still visited for business reasons, but it is also a popular town, as the region around it, for several days or longer to visit.

History, culture and natural search on Robben Island
Robben Island lies 10 kilometers off the coast of Cape Town. There are many excursions to the island offered. In the golden age there was already a Robben Island prison, most known as a prison where they confine fighters against apartheid such as Nelson Mandela. In the year 1991 when Nelson Mandela was released, the prison was finnaly closed for good. Particular detail of a visit to Robben Island is that the tours are often led by ex-prisoners. Besides the reputation of Robben Island prison because of the presence of the Prison Poll Moor, the area is also known for its exceptional nature. Many seals live there, hence the name of the island, and rare birds. In 1999, Robben Island is named a Worlds Heritage Place.

Nightlife and entertainment in Cape Town
Cape Town is a modern city with many opportunities in the area of ??nightlife and entertainment in the evenings. The following areas are popular:
V & A Waterfront, this area is also known simply Waterfront. It is the former port area and it is considered as one of the major tourist attractions of the country. The atmosphere is always lively and you will find numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, street performers, live music and shops.
City Bowl in downtown of Cape Town is an area where the nightlife is good, especially on Long Street.
Camps Bay is a district situated on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean with a promenade where there is always something to do.
