The Eiffel Tower was built for the Universal Exhibition in 1889. It was intended to be demolished and later it was decided to leave it. This is the main sight of Paris. Paris is a huge city. So a building like this there can be located easily. You can not go to the tour in Paris, and not include it. The Eiffel Tower was referred to the original World’s Fair, but now the tower is referred to earn money from tourism. The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 for the Universal Exhibition. At the Expo it was the star. But the idea for the Tour Eiffel was not to Mr. Eiffel. The idea came from Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier. The two major engineering company Eiffel, Emile Nouguier and Maurice Koechlin, have the idea in June 1884 of a high tower, designed as a large pylon with four beams. It is a tower up to 300 meters.

After working in a railway construction company, Gustave Eiffel was responsible for the construction of a steel bridge near Bordeaux for which he uses the new foundation. He acquired a high reputation abroad. To him we owe, among other things, the bridge over the Douro in Portugal FEUV or station in Pest in Hungary. He experimented technical processes increasingly sophisticated and the Garabit viaduct built in the Cantal obtained for some time the world record height. This is already a record for its four hundred and fifty meters long. But Gustave Eiffel does not stop with this success and began construction of the statue of Bartholdi. While the famous Statue of Liberty located in New York was sculpted by Bartholdi and Eiffel’s who built the iron frame inside. Then he began the project of building the tower named after him, for the Universal Exhibition held at the Champ de Mars in Paris. Only then he gets the first prize.

The building is located in the Champs de Mars in Paris, the capital of France. Paris is a great city. In Paris there are many things that are worth to visit. When you arrive in Paris, you won’t see the Eiffel Tower immediately.
You can go to the tower on foot, by subway, bus, bike or car. Walk is great fun, because in Paris there are many things worth seeing. For example the Champs-Elysees, the Louvre and the Bois de Boulogne, and many more. Paris is very intimate. In Paris there are many cute shops where you can buy a lot of funny stuff. Going by metro is very easy. In the middle of Paris there are plenty of metro stations. When you take the subway, you will very quickly get to the destination. You will see real people of Paris. Going by bus is very funny. You will see the city without the traffic. Bicycling is the most fantastic. Taking part in the authentic life of Paris. It’s cool and you’ll see all things in the city. Driving is not the best way. Traffic in Paris is very active and find parking is very difficult. During the trip to the tower, you can visit the interesting things in Paris. In Paris there are many museums, exhibitions etc.. When we arrived at the tower, you can mount it. We must take sixteen thousand and sixty five steps. It has three hundred meters.

The contractor of the tower is Gustave Eiffel & Cie.

Engineers Maurice Koechlin and Tower are Emile Nouguier.

The architect of the tower is Stephen Sauvestre.

The tower is 324 meters high with antenna.

The total weight is 10 tons in 1000.

The tower has 1665 steps.

The tower has a height of three hundred and five meters, but when it is cold or hot it is, may differ in height fifteen to twenty centimeters.

The construction lasted two years, ten months and five days.

You have to climb ten to seven hundred ninety and two steps to come to the summoned.

Two hundred and forty employees worked on the tower.

The Eiffel Tower is stretched seventeen times. It is fifty tons of paint!

There are plans for an underground construction. The directors of the tower have plans to make five underground floors. In these stages are likely to be restaurants, shops, museum, parking and a 3D-cinema. The purpose of this is to increase the attraction for more tourists.

North Korea is not the first country you think of when you book a trip. Yet this country has much to offer, but it is also a country that hides a lot.

North Korea
North Korea is a closed communist country in Asia. Currently, North Korea, is in the news because of the death of leader Kim Jong-il and it is at odds with South Korea and the West. The Koreas have long been occupied by Japan, but by the surrender of Japan, the Koreas freed and falls into the hands of the Russians north and south in the hands of the United States. Kim Il-sun then gets the power and made strong socialist country. After several years they fall within South Korea and the Korean War begins. The United Nations intervenes in the country and since then there is a truce, but still no peace.

On holiday to North Korea
North Korea is not the holiday destination of choice, but as more countries decided for the adventurous traveler more than worth a visit to this private land. You will not just go inside North Korea, it is only possible through travel agents. If you want to save money then it is possible to go to Beijing and then a trip to North Korea. You should accompany with a guide if you are traveling through the country and it is from a cost perspective therefore advisable to use a group to travel through the country.

Why go to North Korea?
North Korea is a country with varying landscapes and beautiful nature. The country is not touristy and therefore very pure for a traveler. The landscape is very diverse, from farmland to the mountains and the coast to bustling cities. There is much to visit North Korea’s worthwhile. There are several big cities with local attractions, including museums and glorification of the past leaders of the country. There is also a wide range of wilderness in North Korea, such as coastlines and mountain. You also see that there are very ordinary people live, who have fun, work hard and above all human. You can contact the people and most of them speak a little English and are very approachable.

Why not North Korea?
North Korea is a closed country and from all sides, the population is kept small. It comes out that large parts of the country in poverty and there has been a serious food shortage. Also, many people are persecuted for religious reasons and political reasons. The regime of North Korea is a brutal regime, which can indicate that you do not want to go to visit this country. The country also live in tension with South Korea and the rest of the West. Regularly there are problems between the Koreas and provoke each other.

In short
Be prepared for a trip to North Korea. It is a closed country and therefore it is not possible for example to use the Internet or call abroad with your phone. The people live in a constant alertness to the expression of opinion about the country and the regime. However, the country specific aspects: friendly people and beautiful nature!

Obviously this is because many different people and cultures live there. Furthermore, the landscape is very diverse. South Africa has a wonderful nature, great game parks. In addition, the country has many beautiful cities. Here are some places and areas worth seeing:
Pretoria is a very important city in South Africa, especially in tourism. The architecture here is quite remarkable. The houses are in Dutch and English built. Of course there are several historical buildings, including the Voortrekker Monument, Union Buildings (Parliament buildings), the Palace of Justice and the Council Saal. There are several interesting museums in Pretoria, as the Transvaal Museum, National Cultural History Museum and the Pretoria Art Museum.
Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa and is situated at 1752 meters altitude on the slopes of the Witwatersrand-ridge. It is also an important international center, such as the fashion world. Many models come to South Africa to be registered with a modeling agency. This modern city has many high-rise and offers plenty of entertainment in theaters, museums and nightlife. The main entertainment district of Johannesburg is Hillbrow, but this area is very dangerous. There are many robberies committed, especially tourists. Therefore it is wise to move to the suburb of Rosebank. The city of Sand Town is ideal for shopping, there is a large shopping center that includes many international stores.
Durban is English-style city and it has an important function as a port. In Durban you will find many museums and the famous Durban Botanic Gardens. Durban is also a seaside resort with a beautiful beach along the Golden Mile. In the area north of Durban you could have good diving.
Western Cape is province mainly known for its vineyards. Here are the Cape wines. There’re also several wine routes, wine villages and vineyards along run. A beautiful route is the triangle Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek.
Kimberley is the center of the diamond industry. The main attraction is the former Diamond Big Hole. You can also find the Kimberley Mine Museum.

We really apperciate Mr Mark Paton‘s contribution to our website.

Whether you are looking for terms of culture or nature, water sports or sunbathing, history and entertainment Cape Town has something for everyone.

Cape Town lies in the extreme southwest of South Africa and Johannesburg. In terms of population it is the second largest city in this vast country. Cape Town has been around a long time. In 1652 there was possibly the first European colony founded. Earlier ships had to sail around the Cape of Good Hope on their journey to the east. The Cape Town area was a port where ships moored in store for supplies, possibly to load and rest of the crew. Cape Town is still visited for business reasons, but it is also a popular town, as the region around it, for several days or longer to visit.

History, culture and natural search on Robben Island
Robben Island lies 10 kilometers off the coast of Cape Town. There are many excursions to the island offered. In the golden age there was already a Robben Island prison, most known as a prison where they confine fighters against apartheid such as Nelson Mandela. In the year 1991 when Nelson Mandela was released, the prison was finnaly closed for good. Particular detail of a visit to Robben Island is that the tours are often led by ex-prisoners. Besides the reputation of Robben Island prison because of the presence of the Prison Poll Moor, the area is also known for its exceptional nature. Many seals live there, hence the name of the island, and rare birds. In 1999, Robben Island is named a Worlds Heritage Place.

Nightlife and entertainment in Cape Town
Cape Town is a modern city with many opportunities in the area of ??nightlife and entertainment in the evenings. The following areas are popular:
V & A Waterfront, this area is also known simply Waterfront. It is the former port area and it is considered as one of the major tourist attractions of the country. The atmosphere is always lively and you will find numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, street performers, live music and shops.
City Bowl in downtown of Cape Town is an area where the nightlife is good, especially on Long Street.
Camps Bay is a district situated on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean with a promenade where there is always something to do.
